The Silver and Mini Freestyle brands are part of the French Trigano Group and specialize in lightweight folding roof caravans. For 2023, Silver only has the trend series in its series. At the fair, we took a closer look at the Silver Trend 422.
Silver Trend 422 (2023)
Silver manufactures the outer skin of the Trend 422 entirely from GRP, while a moisture-resistant XPS foam insulates the caravan. The roof is also planked with GRP. The floor of the caravan of 590 centimeters long, on the other hand, is made of plywood. In the bow there are easily accessible two large single beds that can easily be converted into a king-size bed measuring 190 x 200 centimeters.

The rear dinette can also be converted into another bed 190 x 60/75 centimeters. Storage space can be found in all wall units and in the wardrobe next to the bathroom. The shoe flap at the entrance also looks practical at first glance.
The combination of light wood and black fittings and handles looks modern and makes the compact caravan appear airy. The white table and gray upholstery in the seating area go well with it.
bathroom and kitchen
Silver positioned the kitchen in the middle of the caravan. There is space for a 3-burner stove with a stainless steel sink, as well as the 85-liter refrigerator. Crockery and food supplies can be stored in the cupboard, in the small wall unit and on an open shelf above the kitchen.

Campers will find the bathroom opposite the kitchen. The central element has the corner sink with a mirror above it and a vanity unit. Opposite is the cassette toilet and there is also a shower tray in this small bathroom.
additional options
If you want a little more comfort and equipment, you have to shell out a few extra euros. Aluminum rims, folding doors, tanks of 45 and 30 liters for fresh water and waste water and hot water supply by a Truma system cost extra. Also available on request are a help to lift the electric roof, the preparation of the frame for a bicycle carrier, a bad and battery preparation.

The smallest of the four Trend floor plans is 513 centimeters long Silver Trend 350. Here the large seating area can be converted into a bed 180 x 200 centimeters. The length of 533 centimeters comes with a fixed bed that measures 140 x 190 centimeters. Silver Trend 380 hence.
Here, too, the seating group in the back can be converted into an additional bed. The floor plan range is completed by 5.91 meters long Silver Trend 420. This model also has a double bed across the bow. However, the convertible dinette is attached to the side here and is located in the middle of the caravan.

With the increasing number of new camping enthusiasts, the demand for compact models is also increasing. Silver meets this demand and trend models will therefore certainly find many interested parties.
