The post office at Münchweilerer Hauptstrasse 3 will change hands without a problem on October 1st: Jennifer List from Eppenbrunn will take over the post office, the lottery and toto shop and other games of chance and the range of papers, newspapers, magazines, books puzzle and novels. The 33-year-old is no stranger to her customers: the young woman has been behind the counter since April 2018 and satisfies the wishes of customers.
Lis took over the post office from her former boss, Olga Wirz. The native of Eppenbrunn wants to expand the range – such as snacks, bars, chocolates, chips, toys for children, tobacco, drinks with and without alcohol. “I would like to add some other food, which is missing here in the village. The elderly should have the opportunity to buy for their daily needs locally so that they no longer have to drive out of town,” the business woman explains RHEINPFALZ about its innovations. There is already a small selection of gifts and pharmacy items such as shower gel and deodorant on the shelves. Jennifer List knows what is needed in the village because she likes to talk to her customers and maintain personal contact.
