Since a trip with Michi, Tobias discovered sports betting for himself. But in the case of the ambitious construction manager, there can be no question of a harmless hobby: Tobias is addicted to gambling! Katrin also had to take note of this with concern. Because her ex-boyfriend refused an offer of help, Katrin decided with a heavy heart to leave Tobias alone.

After Maren left her trip around the world, Katrin has her apartment to herself again – or so she thinks. When he returned to his four walls after work, someone rang the doorbell. Since Katrin wasn’t waiting for anyone, she was even more surprised when a completely emaciated Tobias stood before her. “Please help me!”, Tobias pleads with his perplexed ex-girlfriend. Katrin, who herself had to experience addiction, can understand Tobias’s desperation and know where to turn. Although the wife initially believes that she can help Tobias with her support and understanding, she quickly realizes that the burden on Tobias’ shoulders is heavier than she thought.
Tobias is looking for new sources of income
After a sincere kiss, followed by a night spent together, Katrin has to go to a business meeting and finally leaves the apartment. At first, Tobias manages to distract himself and forget his gambling addiction for a while, but after a while the desire returns. He even stole Katrin’s jewelry, which he immediately ran to the pawn shop with. As expected, Tobias returns to his regular betting office the same day and gambles away the bills that the jeweler brought in.
